Composite insulators Composite insulators have an overall rod-shaped design, compact structure, high quality, and weight that is 1/10 of the same grade porcelain and glass insulators. They are extremely convenient to transport and install, with high mechanical tensile load, large span and compact lines. The pollution flashover voltage is 30%-50% higher than that of porcelain and glass insulators of the same grade. There is three stability at -60 degrees to +200 degrees; the non-breakdown design is adopted, and there is no need to measure the zero value during operation.

The surface of the silicone rubber sheath material is not only hydrophobic when new, but also temporarily restores its hydrophobicity under the operating conditions of the line. Water forms water droplets on the surface of the material, and the very fine film of the silicone rubber liquid basically engulfs the dirt, thereby suppressing the surface resistance of ionic substances at high voltages, reducing leakage current, and increasing pollution flashover voltage. This performance can maintain the reliability of energy transmission even when the silicone rubber material is aged, significantly reducing the cleaning and maintenance costs of insulators.

3) Small size and light weight The weight of 110kv/100kn composite long rod insulator is only 12% of the corresponding 70kn porcelain insulator.
